Wey - Basingstoke Canals Triangle

The main part of the walk follows a part of the Wey Canal to where it intersects the Basingstoke Canal. It then follows the Basingstoke Canal to Woking to return to the start point. The remaining side of the 'Triangle' is partly occupied by the Hoe Stream.

There are numerous opportunities for refreshments at The New Inn at Send, The Anchor at Pyrford Lock, West Byfleet shops and numerous places in Woking.

We parked near the cricket club WM 8 to avoid a parking fee. A very flat, easy walking route. Well directed. Lots of interesting things to see. We were a couple of days too early for any pubs to be open after lockdown but I know from previous visits that The Anchor is worth going to.
